I imagined that Sea Wolf was really just one nerdy guy who came up with brilliant folk songs in his bedroom and recorded all the parts himself on a 4 track. But as you can see in this video Sea Wolf is actually a whole bunch of nerds, that like to play their music sitting in a semi circle.

Alright you fuckers! Enough of the electro bullshit! Your mate mohammed is to the rescue! Forget anything you have ever heard from the horrors, this new song is like bathing in the red sea! Think jesus and mary chain but more, dont worry punk rockers ive got your back.

Chew Lips - Solo

This band only formed last year and this is their first single. The video is fairly low budget but the song makes up for it.

I was gutted when I heard that Nick Zinner had traded his guitar for a keyboard for pretty much the whole "It's Blitz" album. But I gotta admit, this is an epic song.

Bat For Lashes - Daniel

I wish I was Daniel. Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes) has a voice like an angel and is pretty dam cute!

Grand Ole Party - Look Out Young Son

A female singer/drummer!? That is cool to the max!

A good example of how a video can be low budget but still entertaining.

Wow a new band that plays instruments! What's that, they don't play electro dance pop? Wow they play "The Blues" instead. What the?? They even have a real drummer and he goes by the name of Jack White, hey isn't he from The White Stripes? That girl's kinda familiar too, isn't she from The Kills? And that guy with the glasses, he's a Raconteur. And that other guy, over in the corner, he must be some kinda stone age rock queen to hang with them... Oh I see, I see, so their the new supergroup sent to save our souls. About time.

They definitely put a lot of effort into this video but I keep getting distracted by how much that guy reminds me of Pigsy from Monkey Magic.

Beck - Gamma Ray

I read a book once about 'The factory' (Andy Warhol's artspace) by a lady named Ultra Violet. She was the sensible one who never dabbled in acid or any other drug paraphernalia, I guess she was weird enough straight to fit in and took note of the 'factory days' in her diary. The stuff that went on in 'The Factory' blew my mind, everything from silver spray painted people to midget waiters handing out pills, both weird and wonderful. I don't know if Beck's got some kinda 'factory' going down at the studio or rehearsal space but it looks like a dam good place to be, straight or otherwise.

Yeasayer - 2080

The year 2080, time to escape for the weekend with a bit of intergalactic camping. (I see they still using tents even!) Lets just hope music still sounds this good in 2080

Slightly different to the album version of this track, but the dancing skeletons are cool.
